Make sure: no tendon injury , need immobilisation  some times due  partial tare of tendon May send you for MRI or even refer you to orthopedic surgeon (  In India there is no  DPM  s )

No, thats very unli-: Kely. You probably developed some other problem, depending how you were treated for tendinosis.
Possibilities include muscle tears (unlikely that you have it on both sides); clots (again very rarely do they occur on both sides); weakened muscles in the calves, if you have been treated by resting them for more than a few days ; now they are hurting, as you start getting around.

Have it evaluated: Please have this evaluated. Most masses in this area are benign, but prompt evaluation is always the best medicine.  May have to have an MRI for evaluation.  A good physical exam of the area will be helpful.  See your foot and ankle specialists!

A careful yes: You can run again if you get proper medical attention. Your foot & ankle specialist will evaluate your injury and temporarily put you in a cast or a splint. Then order imaging studies (MRI) before discussing surgical repair if this is the case. To reattach an avulsed achilles tendon, the surgeon uses soft tissue anchors to the heel bone, w/c  would allow return to full activities upon healing.
