If prescribed that : Way. Ambien (zolpidem) is out of your system by now. As long as you're taking the prescribed dose of Oxycontin and he feel free to go ahead and do so. Also, for future reference, Ambien (zolpidem) as a minimal effect in terms of respiratory suppression so as long as you take the standard recommended adult dose of Ambien (zolpidem) along with the oxycodone i would not worry about it unless you happen to have advanced pulmonary disease. Always be careful: methadone is a very effective pain medication with great pain control with less psychological overtunes  You are on a lot of medication and some overlap like ambien (zolpidem) and klonopin, Soma and methadone and Lexapro and tofranil   Also tofranil mixes with the methadone  Make sure you are being followed closely

Yes: Oxycontin is long acting, slow release. Oxycodone is fast acting and release. Oxycontin is for pain maintenance and oxycodone can be used for breakthrough pain. Discuss with your doctor or pain specialist first before you start or increase the dose/frequency of either.

NO WAY!!: No and no! both are sedatives, in other words make you sleepy and they can be additive. So they enhance each other and you can be knocked out and maybe even slow respiration  and other not good things can occur. Pay attention to the label with the ambien (zolpidem). Pretty sure it say to not take with alcohol.
