Possibly: People with irritable bowel syndrome, lactose or gluten intolerance may have very frequent uncomfortable gas buildup. Avoidance of certain gassy foods, lactose or gluten may help. Taking simethicone after meals may prevent gas buildup. A gastroenterologist is best qualified to evaluate you. Appropriate tests will be done and dietary advice given depending upon the results of the workup.

See your doctor ASAP: whenever a 46yo person has a new pain in the chest or shoulders it needs to be evaluated promptly to determine its source. Occasionally, serious issues such as heart or lung problems manifest as shoulder pain. Likely, it will be something else, but if it is a serious issue, it needs to be diagnosed promptly. Good luck.

See details: These symptoms are nonspecific and can have many causes.  If you are sexually active, pregnancy should be ruled out.  Infection and hormonal issues are possibilities.  You need to see a GYN promptly.

Have it checked out: This could be sign of an ulcer, gallbladder, or more serious stomach issue.  I suggest you see your doctor and have it checked out:  need some lab tests and at least ultrasound to start with.

Yes this is normal: Gas is just air that is in you GI tract. Because air moves around, you can feel the gas in many different parts of your abdomen.

You may want to start keeping a food diary to see what foods may cause you to have more gas and try not to eat those particular foods. There are also over the counter medications like Gas-ex or simethicone that can help break up gas in your GI tract.

i took aleve for a few months last year when i had muscle pain from an incident. since then my stool is a little lighter than before a light brown sometimes tan color. from before it was a darker brown. i also have gas pains upper right side also new?

does fiber cause gassiness? i rarely passed gas, always was constipated. since eating fiber. taking fiber supplements as well. i'm extra gassy every day and going poop every day. i know pooping every day is good but is gassinesss serious?

: Intestinal gas includes the air you swallow during feeds/drinking. Add carbonation from beverages. Then add the gas caused by gut germs feeding on digestive debris. By itself it is just a reflection of these contributors and not a disease. A food diary may help you decide that some foods make you gassier. These you can avoid. Taking probiotics can change your gut germs and help you be less gassy.

: If this symptom just happens today, you can observe it. But if this symptom is chronic (happening almost everyday), you should be examined.
