Not just: Not just lymph nodes in your neck, but the lymphatic tissue that creates a ring at the back of your oral cavity (adenoids on top, tonsils on sides, back 1/3 of tongue on bottom) may be affected by oral/neck infection.  Next time it happens seek consultation w ear/nose/throat specialist.

i've been in bed for a few days due to a tooth, neck, jaw, and throat infection and the medications for it. i haven't had much to eat of course but as in feeling better i've noticed that if i'm up for more than a few minutes, i get a horrible sinking feel

Eat and drink: With all those pains you probably haven't been eating properly or drinking enough liquids (including electrolytes) to help you stay stron and feel better.  Force yourself to eat and go buy some gatorade or like liquid.  And do move around, because laying around for many just makes you more tired.  Then schedule an appointemtn with your md or dmd. Maybe: However I’m not positive what “citrizime” is, because it is not on the internet. Could you mean cetirizine? When it comes to your meds, you should ALWAYS ask your Dr about it’s safety with other meds AND supplements, Especially if you are seeing multiple Drs. Only your Dr knows your liver and kidney status and past medical history/allergies etc so don’t trust answers from others/internet!

Neck nodes: This is very common.  Your doctor is probably right on and you should not be scared.  The neck nodes may persist for a long time.

Most likely: Painless lumps typically represent reactive (benign) lymph nodes.  Fluctuations in size with respiratory/throat infections typically is normal, but watch to make sure they are not progressively growing or becoming painful.  Plus, if they are freely moveable, it is a good sign,

A doctor can check: If one has a bacterial infection like strep throat, he will need treatment with antibiotics. If he is worse, such as having more pain, difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, or too much cough, then it is hard to tell what is going on without another exam. That means seeing a doctor again (Emergency Room or primary doctor). Bad things like a big tonsillar abscess or a neck abscess can happen.

Probable infection: Throat infection probable cause of the problem especially if the two nodes are on the same side as the throat infection.  With antibiotics for the infection/nodes, they should subside within a 2 wk. period of time.  If the do get smaller and do not increase in number while on meds, one can rule out lymphoma.

Hard to say: Many viral illnesses can produce a rash as would a reaction to one of the many meds listed. Rashes often requuire an exam to sort them out.

R/O PERICARDITIS: You may have inflammation of the heart=PERICARDITIS vs inflammation of the lungs =PLEURITIS.  Myocarditis is much more serious and can be suggested by an abnormal echo. Often they are post viral.They tend to resolve with rest/hydration /NSAID(indocin)  if it persists as course of prednisone may be needed. You need a prompt evaluation EKG/CXR AND LABS. See your doctor for eval. Coxackie a &amp;b titers
