Syphilis serology: Do not know how you were tested, but these are usually quite sensitive and negative results usually mean negative results. The scenario you describe is also one which is not likely to be transmitting syphilis, unless of course he had open lesions on his penis which contained living spirochaetes. Suspect you are going to be fine but it never hurts to recheck. Hope this helps.

The : The most common cause for this problem is psychological. Instead of trying to fix the problem with physical stimulation such as what you described in your post, try to talk to your partner. If this is a new problem and you guys were fine before, then something must have occurred recently.  Are there any issues going on in the relationship that are bothering him? Is there something he is upset about etc.? Is he attracted to you?
