when i was shopping i had one hand on cart and one on the freezer door when a shock went right through my hand to my heart and out the other hand. i felt my heart spasm/contract almost passed out. no symptoms after 24 hours should i get checked?

You may: What you described seems like static electricity shock and is not a cause for concern.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

toxic shock syndrome: how do you get it, how common is it, what are the symptoms and how is it treated?

Bacterial infection: It is a rare syndrome. Causes includes superabsorbent tampons, skin infection and injury and surgery. It develops suddenly and can be fatal. Intravenous fluid, blood transfusion, Adrenalin like drugs, antibiotic.

what exactly happens when you get toxic shock syndrome? i know the symptoms but what is happening in your body? how do tampons cause it?

Vascular collapse: Bacteria grow in the vagina around the tampon that has been left in place for a period of time. The "toxic" byproducts of that growth get into the bloodstream through the vagina and release pyrogens(fever agents) in turn those toxins act on the capillaries and arterial endotheliums(cell walls) to turn them into "sieves" causing extravasation of the blood contained in the vessels and "shock".

when i lay on my left side in bed i get a severe pain and tightness in the area of my heart and my body feels like it is going into shock. i sleep on my right side, but if i roll over in my sleep i wake up from these symptoms. what's wrong?

Pain sleep on L side: There are many things that could do this.  But will need much more information and to examine you in detail to make any suggestions. Discuss with your team.

Yes, certainly: A serious traumatic event can lead to symptoms months or sometimes even years later. If you are struggling with flashbacks, anxiety, or depression symptoms, get some help. If you're not sure who to talk to, ask your doctor for a suggestion.

Tough one: Sounds like a very bothersome side effect. From your tone, i take it you really need the statin for a situation like diabetes or heart disease or a very high cholesterol. Options are 1) lower dose, 2) intermittant dosing, 3) different pill, or 4) combine with rx for restless legs. Please discuss with your doc, who naturally wants to know about side effects bad enough to make you stop rx.

if i had slow kidney function what sort of symptoms would i get within 2 hours of eating.

Nothing: If you have vomiting or nausea, it isn't likely due to your kidney function, unless you are extremely close to dialysis and in need of it urgently.

Common cold: With the common head cold some people actually feel better when going outside when the weather is good. However, true influenza is a more intense and systemic infection that requires a lot of rest. Increase in activity while that ill, may worsen symptoms.

Concussive injury: Your head probably was "knocked-around" during the fall hitting your head..And some headache afterward is quite common. If you experience significant dizziness, vision change, and nausea/vomitting, consult doc asap. Otherwise, take it easy for couple of days. Motrin/tylenol may help ease the pain a bit. Consult doc. Good luck.
