Depends on...: Depends on how many days the cycle is.  For a 28 day cycle, ovulation is around day 14, so the fertile time is about days 10-16.

Less likely: If your cycle is 33 days, then your ovulation is projected on day 15-16. Day 22 will be in the "safe" zone, although, there is no 100% safe zone really. Things happen.

Not likely: You may have missed your opportunity this month. You need to have sex around the time of ovulation which usually occurs 12-14 days after the first day of your last period. You may be past your time of ovulation this month.

Basic biology: The "pull out" method is based on the idea that as long as you "pull out" before delivering the "load" pregnancy will not occur. However, it only takes a single sperm, present in all the mucous secretions (semen) of the penis during intercourse. You may cut your risks a small amount, but plan for parenthood if this is your plan.

See a fertility specialist (reproductive endocrinologist) to find out why you're not ovulating (releasing an egg) very often: could be pcos, thyroid or prolactin hormone issues, low egg supply, or low hormone levels due to stress, exercise, eating disorders. Your chances depend on your age and the reason you're not ovulating - treatment will help.

Get checked out: You're ovulating around days 31-36. At 22 you can try for 6 months before seeing a fertility specialist (reproductive endocrinology and infertility or rei) to find out why you have long cycles - could be polycystic ovarian syndrome (pcos), thyroid or prolactin problems, low egg supply (diminished ovarian reserve) or low hormone levels from stress or exercise. Treatment will help you get pregnant.
