Try using OPK: Checking mucus is not that reiiable - you still have a chance of getting pregnant. If you have regular cycles try an ovulation predictor kit (opk) - test between 10 am and noon, starting on day 10 of your cycle. The first morning urine is not accurate. The day of a positive test and the next 2 days are your most fertile days. See a rei specialist if not prego after up to a year, or if irregular.

Creamy cervical mucu: You need to schedule a post coital test, a check of you cervical mucus 6-8 hrs after relations around the time of your ovulation.  If about 20 active sperm/high powered field on the microscope are seen that normal independent of the color of your cervical mucus.

Not reliable : Relying on cervical mucous as a tool for predicting ovulation is highly unreliable. If you feel you have abnormal discharge get tested for infection. If you are trying to get pregnant try an ovulation kit. If you want to avoid pregnancy use condoms or birth control.

why do i get two different types of cervical mucus at the same time, its creamy and white on the underwear and slimy like egg whites when i wipe? what does it indicate?

Vaginal discharge ?: Creamy white discharge is probably oxidized mucus, which occurs when dried on clothing.  The "egg white" discharge is more common when ovulation occurs, and can turn "white" on clothing.  A "chunky white" discharge may occur with yeast (fungal) infections, so if itching and raw areas occur , check with your gyn for treatment.

Ovulation kit: Evaluating cervical mucous is not needed in today's world. It is so variable and unpredictable. If you are trying to time ovulation use an ovulation kit. They are available at any pharmacy and are much more reliable.

Testing is important to determine the treatment and keep you and your partner safe.

Yes: It sounds like you are familiar with the changes in cervical mucus which are associated with your fertile phase: white or cream colored, thick to slightly stretchy turning to thin, watery, transparent, egg white mucus when highly fertile. So many women can get a warning and then target intercourse (or avoidance!) to the highly fertile period. Predictably, it varies with irregular cycles. Stay well

Dry vs. wet: I've not used the term 'dry days' before, maybe it would be helpful to think of the 'wet days' for cervical mucus as starting shortly before ovulation. Cervical mucus is supposed to be thicker/stickier until around ovulation.
