i have ovarian cysts, i am not pregnant at all.my lower abdomen is super hard,could my cyst cause this..plus i'm on birth control implanon?

Body and hormones: Implanon is still a hormone. Your body still has to metabolize it some we all react differently in how we metabolize chemicals. Ovarian cysts develop due to your hormones as well as exogenous hormones.

: You may have side effects of nexplanon; however the best thing would be to see your gynecologist for reevalaution. Bloating and pain in the lower abdomen may also be related to your dietary habit and the effect on your gastrointestinal tract. like constipation and gas may cause the symptoms described.

Very unlikely: No test and no contraceptive is 100% but the implanon and Nexplanon neither CAUSE a false negative pregnancy test nor a miscarriage. They also don't influence ovarian cysts nor are they influenced by antibiotics. Hope this helps.

Depends on size: Ovarian cysts are a normal process of egg development and you normally dont feel any different than normal. Large cysts can be functional and produce abnormal levels of hormones which could cause pain, abnormal bleeding. Some cysts may cause pain during intercourse or with physical activity. Some make you feel full or your clothes fit tightly.

Yes: Your ovaries are still fining after a tubal ligation. Cysts will come and go and are part of the normal cycle.
