No: Often time, doctors and providers might know you have an infection (cough, fever, abnormal chest x-ray  support a diagnosis of pneumonia), but we don't know what bug is causing it. 

Because some bugs / bacteria respond to certain antibiotics we might give more than one to attack the most common types of bugs.

i'm taking antithyroid, can i take antibiotic when i get infection?

Yes: Most of the antibiotics are safe to take along with the thyroid medicine, provided you are not allergic to that particular antibiotic.

Hopefully not : Be sure to follow your doctor's directions on aftercare. Report any signs of fever, malaise, excessive bleeding, abdominal pain/cramps. In short call your doctor if you are not feeling right. Keep your appointment with your doctor for continuous care and also discuss which birth control would be appropriate for you. Also remember to practice safe sex . Use condoms.

Recurrent yeast...: ...can be prevented. Antibiotics can trigger vaginal yeast infections (and sometimes elsewhere, such as the mouth, anus). It may be posslble to prevent them with vaginal or oral treatment. Oral is easiest, a single dose of fluconazole (Diflucan®) by mouth, either at start of antibiotic treatment, or once a week to prevent recurrent infections. Discuss it with your doctor. Good luck!

Hard to say: Taking antibiotics doesn't give you a yeast infection. The yeast are already there, but if you kill off enough germs in your gut or on the skin surface it allows them more access to territory/food so they may emerge as a problem. It takes at least a few days to start the process. If you take probiotics (good germ colonies) at the same time you may avoid it.

: Antibiotics in the US are available only on prescription which minimizes risks and inappropriate usage.  There are no herbal antibiotics which function as an antibiotic.  Herbal stuff is usually not tested, nor are the contents of the containers likely to contain what the label says.  If you think you are infected, see your family doctor to rule it in or out.

i am curious if antibiotics become resistant to the a tooth infection then how can you get it extracted?

Depends: If the bacteria causing the infection have become resistant to a particular antibiotic, a different medication may solve the problem. Sometimes the best approach is to block a nerve away from the infection to get good local anesthesia in the area and get the tooth removed to eliminate the source of the infection.
