Depends on what they: are testing for. Phentermine is not an amphetamine and doesn't usually cause false positives in screening tests, and if the screening test IS positive, the confirmatory test will be negative. Although it is a prescription drug, it is not included on testing panels that I know of. Again, depends on how sophisticated the tests they are doing. Consider seeing a counselor - ? drug problem.

Urine drug screen: Depending upon the type of test performed  (the standard 5 drug panel in the US) would NOT likely show this drug in your system.    However, if the test is a more comprehensive one using GC/MS technology it might.     Drink plenty of water today and tomorrow.   
if it was prescribed  - don't worry - take the prescription bottle with you  if not  you might have an issue

So long as you are taking it under a doctor's prescription and supervision, taking it as prescribed and the side effects don't interfere with your work, you should have little to fear if it shows up on a urine drug screen. The main point of these tests is to find people abusing drugs, not taking them by prescription.

: The time for 1/2 the drug to leave the body is about a day.  The next day half &amp; so on until the drug is likely undetectable in urine after 4 days. Depending on the sensitivity of the test it may or may not be positive.

Pretty long!: Detectable 5-7 days after use. Chronic use (over one year) of Valium, however, can be detected much longer.  The detection window for Valium in urine screens is up to 4-6 weeks esp  in older folk. If you have a prescription, it should not be a problem - bring it. Also, try to avoid stress w/ CBT it's healthier for you than a pill!
