A matter of degree: Everybody in the world gets blows to the head once in a while. Rarely are they concussions. Likewise, everybody in the world gets blows to the abdomen sometimes, but rarely are they internal organ bruising injuries. That's because a blow is a vague word covering all severities. Concussion means there is detectable injury to the brain's functioning, even if nothing unusual is visible on brain scan.

Depends how minor: There are different degrees of "minor" head injury. Certainly, if there is a documented loss of consciousness or any neurologic symptoms (lethargy, nausea/vomiting, blurred or double vision, altered sensorium)  you should have it checked out. Also, look at the mechanism of injury. A fall from the 4 feet onto concrete is different from a fall from 1 foot onto the carpeted floor.

It : It is possible but unlikely, that the head injury has anything to do with infertility.  The best test is for him to check his sperm count.  This really shouldn't be very expensive but would answer a lot of your questions.  Best wishes.

Not usual from a head bump!
can come from infection, bronchitis.

More info needed: Did you get a head ct or MRI when you were in the hospital? 
If these symptoms are new or if they are getting worse compared to when you were in the hospital, yes go back.  If any of the following: headache is constant, associated with nausea, vomiting, gets worse when you bend down, strain, cough or sneeze, go to the er immediately. If you are not sure, err on the safe side and go back for checkup.

Unlikely: If you did not have symptoms immediately after injury you are unlikely to have long term consequences.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

Depends: Please rephrase the question. exercise is good. Uncorrected low sodium increases the risk for seizures. How severe is the TBI?
