Probably too much: The only safe amount of fish during pregnancy is none.  The FDA has guidelines about how much and what types of fish are more or less dangerous, depending on the amount of mercury the specific fish is thought to contain.

Planning such a diet should occur before conception and in consultation with you OB.

Generally, large fish with a long lifespan (e.g., tuna) have higher mercury levels.

Yes: Canned tuna is fine in pregnancy.  There have been no recorded cases of mercury poisening from canned tuna, which is the concern when eating large ocean going fish.

Stop..: You should not be eating raw or undercooked meats/seafoods of any type during pregnancy. As far as tuna/salmon, you should limit consumption of mercury containing fish and seafood to at most twice a week. Raw foods just have too much potential for infectious disease, so for this nine months, give up the sushi and sashimi and cook your foods.
