need some good diet tips. i'm currently trying to shed like 45/50 lbs.i've tried so much.i also cut out the fast foods.i never really liked drinking soda.i'm stuck on water, vitamin water.also diet green tea.and i will shed a few lbs but end up gaining it

Being accountable for what you put in your mouth by writing it down and being aware of calorie values will make you think about what you are eating. It is important to eat a good variety of foods, so as long as you count your calories, nothing necessarily has to be "off-limits". Get a kitchen scale and weigh your foods in order to know exactly how much you are eating and therefore how many calories. The healthiest diets involve whole grains, lots of fruits and vegetables, lean meats, fish and moderate dairy. Sugars and added oils/butter should be used sparingly. You need to eat at least three meals a day, though some people will advocate more frequent, smaller meals. An exercise program with a lot of cardio (brisk walking every day is the best!) is also important for muscle tone, strength, and cardiovascular health. Good luck!

Caffeine: Tea and coffee and many carbonated drinks have caffeine. Caffeine increases the excretion of water by the kidneys and you need to make up for that loss.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

No: Drink which ever. It is important to drink some fluids, and low calorie drinks and water are all great, because you aren't spending caloric intake on heavily sugared and sweetened things that might lead to obesity.
