Overall, cortisone injection would be okay with alcohol.

Steroids + alcohol: It would be best to avoid the two together since the alcohol can affect the stomach lining, as can the oral steroids. Best to wait at least 5 days for the half life of the steroid to be eliminated from the body to resume drinking alcohol.

Vaping and e-cigarette use can also contribute to angular cheilitis.  Research also tells us that most cases of cheilitis are caused by a poor diet and nutrient deficiencies.  Certainly stopping the contributing activities and improving diet can help.
