More food diary: I would suggest you keep track of a more consistent, thorough food diary to see what other foods you are reacting to. Is there pattern of dairy? gluten products? You could also try a lactose free diet for two weeks to see if that helps the situation.

Normal: This can be normal. It is recommended that children at 1 year be drinking whole milk. Unlikely due to lactose intolerance since he can already drink 2% milk fine.

Loose stools: As long as he is not having diarrhea and dehydration, loose stools are not an issue. But you can give him more potatoes, rice, and  carotts to make his stools more formed. Yougurt also may help the intestinal flora and affect,, in a good way the stools.We do not want him to have hard stools as they are not health.

Lactose intolerance: Some people are deficient in an enzyme which digest some sugars in milk and as a result they get diarrhea after consuming milk products. Try having milk without lactose and see if that fixes your symptoms as you might be lactose intolerant.

Could be...: But there are many causes of diarrhea. If the almond silk is the cause diarrhea should resolve within a few days of stopping it. Prove that almond silk is the cause of diarrhea by drinking it after diarrhea has resolved. If loose bowel movements return promptly you will have a pretty unambiguous answer. Why not drink lactose-free milk?

Only if...: These are not likely to cause loose stools unless one has gluten sensitivity, lactose intolerance or milk allergy. All of these are surprisingly common. Whole wheat is no more likely than white flour to cause loose stools. The best way to see if you have issues with these foods is to avoid wheat/gluten and dairy for at least 2 weeks and reintroduce them one at a time to see how they affect you.

No: drinking water does not cause loose stools.  You may be starting a viral gastroenteritis.
