: Nothing to worry about, assuming your partner's urinary tract infection diagnosis is accurate. UTIs are not sexually transmitted.

No worries: Typical urinary tract infections are not transmitted by touch nor by sitting on things. That is because the germs cannot crawl up a person's urethra just by being on that person's body. There has to be an element of bad luck, or a "predisposing" bodily condition that makes a urinary tract infection likely to happen, before one needs to worry about catching a UTI merely through touching germs.

You need antibiotics: It is important to have a test called a "Urine Culture and Sensitivity" done whenever UTI is diagnosed in order to identify which bacteria is causing the UTI and which antibiotic will kill that bacteria.  It is not uncommon for bacteria which causes UTI to be resistant to multiple antibiotics.  The sensitivity test will let you know if Amoxicillin will clear up the infection.

Doesn't matter: You could do that, but most likely the clinic in fact can supply wipes. Anyway, alcohol wiping isn't really necessary for clean catch urine. A damp cloth or toilet paper is just as good; the important thing is midstream, i.e. to avoid urine contacting labia. But why walk-in? Contact your Ob's office and let them advise on diagnosis and treatment.

Some basics: The female drainage tube from the bladder to the outside is short. Anything that traumatizes the pee hole (sex/masturbation) can increase the possibilities that germs may enter the pee hole, climb up the pee tube &amp; trigger a bladder infection. Emptying their bladder after sex or masturbation can reduce the risk. Some experience this more than others.

i ws taking estecina 500 for uti and i catched flu and now cough wih yellow pleghm.can estecina help my bronchitis or should i change?7 days now

Cough and phlegm: That medicine is actually ciprofloxacin, and while it should work well for a UTI, it may NOT work for bronchitis. This is because there are different germs involved. Sometimes the germs that cause bronchitis are viruses - and so 'nothing' really works against them. If you get a culture of your phlegm, that will help tell the doctor what's the best medication to try. Azithromycin might be an option
