Yeast rashes: Surgery, illness, stress and certain medications place stress on our bodies, and can result in yeast infections.  Yeast infections occur then the normal mechanisms to keep them at bay are compromised, and often present as red itchy bumpy rashes, occassionally with fissures and discomfort.  Only a physical exam can accurately diagnose what sort of rash you have, so follow up with your doctor soon.

It : It would be very unusual for herpes or vaginal yeast infection to spread throughout the body.  Other medical issues, such as MRSA (methicillin resistant staph aureus), eczema, psoriasis, pityriasis, or other dermatological issues can cause a rash on the body.  Trying a mild anti-bacterial soap and mild lotion may be helpful, but if it is a worsening rash, or if the patient had fever or new symptoms, then the patient should be medically evaluated.

: You may have a different problem which affects both mucosal (vagina) and skin surface (your legs). You need to see a dermatologist as soon as possible.
