i was on 15 mg abilify for 13 yrs. tapered down over 6 weeks then quit. having severe flu like symptoms. headaches. raw dry mouth. heaviness in throat and chest. is this from the abilify and if so how long will it last. covid neg?

: If the COVID-19 test is recent, it is also influenza season, and a test for influenza would be in order.  If the COVID test is not current, get another one, as your symptoms are consistent with COVID and influenza.

COVID 19 screening: Please obtain a screening test for both flu and COVID 19. Take Tylenol for fever and pain, rest, drink fluids and self isolate. 
Continue isolation until well, without any symptoms and until your test is negative. Avoid contact with the elderly.
Have a flu vaccine, and please follow up with your doctor if worsening respiratory condition occurs.
