Constipation: Usually not. On the other hand, if your b complex tablet has iron in it, the iron can cause constipation. Lactobacillus is a probiotic used to replenish normal good bacteria in the colon and is usually beneficial in regularizing bowel habits.

Yes: It depends on both the person, what is in the vitamin, and how much of the different components there are. If you have to take a b vitamin as prescribed by a doctor, do not exceed the recommended daily allowance unless instructed to do so. It is preferable to get your b vitamins from whole grains, whole grain cereals, green vegetables, nuts and beans.

In some, yes: Some people are more sensitive to b vitamins and can experience anxiety and even panic with them.  Vitamin b6 may be especially likely to cause this, even though given for nervous system support.  It is known to increase the vividness of dreaming.  However, many people do very well with b complex, with no anxiety whatsoever.

No: The rda is generally not enough to promote health, only mitigate disease.  High doses of b vitamins are great for stress (adrenal health), energy, memory and neuropathies. B vitamins are water soluble, so if your body doesn't need them, you will urinate them out.  My concern with GNC products is that the label may not reflect what is present (vitamins and fillers/toxins).

Elevated vitaminB : Elevated levels of b vitamin may be a sign of liver disease or a blood problem. In your child's case i hope its the result of overdosing on vitamins. Stop vitamins for a week and have the test repeated.

No: It's good to supplement with B12 if you are a vegetarian, necessary is you are a strict vegetarian / vegan. Don't try to figure out why you have acne; simply manage it with topical benzoyl peroxide and/or retinoic acid, supplementing with your physician's Rx if needed, until it remits on its own.
