See a Gynecologist : I suggest you see a gynecologist. Depending on your situation you might be able to use birth control in such a way as to limit the number of periods per year.

Yes: Any persistent bleeding requires good communication with your doctor so further testing can be done. You may also need to check your hemoglobin(red cell count) to be sure you are not becoming anemic.

Tramadol: Tramadol should not produce the symptoms described, although it is a weak narcotic, and slight nausea can accompany oral intake.  If pregnancy is possible, obtain a serum HCG test for your daughter, and if positive, get her examined right away.  If negative, consult a gyn physician, b/c severe cramping can indicate endometriosis, which can compromise future fertility.

Unknown: Medications are not likely the reason that you are late but you should contact your prescriber for proper followup and information.

3 days late and no menstral cycle? not sexually active, had previous knee surgery given tramadol for pain relief. is this normal to not have a period?

Stress: Any large stress on your body can cause hormone fluctuation.  Surgery is definitely a large stress and many different hormones get released.  If you have not been sexually active, just give it time.  Should you have other problems, fever, pain, discharge, etc. Then i would suggest seeing your doctor.

Tramadol extended-release tablets are only used by people who are expected to need medication to relieve pain around-the-clock for a long time. Tramadol is in a class of medications called opiate agonists. It works by changing the way the body senses pain.

It should be fine for menstrual pain.
