: If your doctor is unavailable, there is an ethical obligation to provide backup coverage.  Contact your local medical society.  Am surprised that you would have significant problems with a rather low dose of topiramate over but one week.  Perhaps a neurologist should be consulted?

I dont know  if this or any other effect is dependent upon dosage or how it interacts withy other problems or tingling history before the use of the medication but id thinkt that it might be worse if there was prior history  of numbness before use. Tell your doctor about it!
