: If your doctor is unavailable, there is an ethical obligation to provide backup coverage.  Contact your local medical society.  Am surprised that you would have significant problems with a rather low dose of topiramate over but one week.  Perhaps a neurologist should be consulted?

HIV Infection: NOT: Having a white tongue is in no way indicative of an acute HIV infection.  Itching and tingling are in no way diagnostic of a viral infection and especially an HIV infection.  This all sounds like drug side effects or withdrawal from your medication.  Nothing in your question indicates any thing about hiv.
