im 47 and i have hydronephrosis and from oct 2021- april 2022 ive had 7 ct scans.6 of then were abdomen/pelvis w/o contrast and 1 of them was head or brain w/o contrast.should i be worried about too much radiation exposure?would that cause the c-word?

: There may be a marginal,  increase in risk of cancer from radiation, benefit of CT exceeds the risk.
You can reduce your risk of cancer by adopting healthy habits: Eat a mostly vegetarian diet, avoid alcohol, tobacco and street drugs, avoid excessive exposure to sun, maintain healthy weight, get HPV vaccine, exercise 30 minutes each day, drink enough water so your urine is mostly colorless.

: Any radiation increases the risk of cancer theoretically.

can gas cause pain in chest and pain when pressing down on pelvis?

Yes: gas is a creative ailment -- it can cause pain in the chest, stomach, pelvis.  if passing gas alleviates symptoms, then that is a good guide.  however, it is a good idea to have a physician examine you.  there are labs and tests and physical evaluation that can be done to help narrow down the cause of the problem.  you wouldn't want to ignore a serious problem.

is there any chance a obgyn would not suggest surgery for a 15cmx8.4cmx15.7cm pelvic cyst ? the cyst causes excessive pain daily .

Yes: That is definitely a large cyst. And especially if it's causing you daily symptoms and/or pain, then most any surgeon is going to recommend removal. If you met an ob/gyn who said you should not have surgery, and consider seeing a different ob/gyn. As most would recommend laparoscopic removal of that.

cant let doctor do a pelvic exam as it causes too much pain but i need one. how can i get through a pelvic exam?

Benzodiazepine: Are you comfortable with your physician?  You can try a low dose of a benzodiazepine such as valium or Ativan (lorazepam) 1 hour prior to procedure.

im seven months pregnant i have been havin this pelvic hip and leg pain since i was five months almost too the point where i can barely walk and i have to take tylenol everyday which i don't want too cause thats too much and i jus deal with the pain my dr

CALL YOUR OB: Your OB can refer you to an orthopedic doc for diagnosis and treatment like physical therapy stretching and message a nd when you get past 37 weeks , your doc may or may not want to do an amnio for fetal lung maturity so u can get induced early assuming your pain gets worse which it may as u get farther along, I have done that with a few of my pts in the past who had unbearable pain.

can scar tissue from umbilical hernia surgery cause pelvic/groin pain from having gas? can too much beer (8-9) 2wks post op tear internal sutures?

Unlikely but -: this is unlikely - you may do well to consult your surgeon.
8-9 beer a day is way too much under any circumstance and not helpful to healing be careful- listen to your body and lay off

Sure: Right lower quadrant contains your appendix, cecum and it is the place where your ileum meets your Colon.  This is the ileocolic valve. Common area for IBS to have symtpoms, and it refers pain to the right groin.

can placenta previa (abrupto @34wk but wasnt seen til 36w) cause postpartum issues? excessive irregular bleeding, pelvic sensitivity?  i am 7month pp

Should not: Causes issues with pregnancy, labor and delivery but 7 months later should not be an issue.
