Mostly treat symptom: Croup or laryngotracheobronchitis is a upper respiratory infection of viral origin and as such is normally self-limiting. A child with croup is generally treated for his symptoms, much like other upper respiratory infections. However, if the child displays severe symptoms, such as very difficult breathing,  or cyanosis (blue complexion), then they should be examined by a doctor immediately.

Yes: The only medications fda approved for intrathecal use for pain are morphine and ziconitide. Off label other opioids, local anesthetics and other medications are often used alone or in combination.

Hmm.....: In good conscience i really cannot give out answers about what psychedelics give the best visuals or not. There are other places on the internet to find such information. I can say by using psychedelics you are risking an unpleasant and perhaps dangerous experience, they are very dependent on the mood of the user, the setting, etc. Meditation is a great way to acheive a healthy altered state.

See pediatrician : I would recommend having your son tested for strep throat: most cases of tonsillitis are viral, however some are due to a bacteria called streptococcus or strep for short. It can damage the heart or kidneys if untreated, so best to have it checked out, or at least call your Dr for further advice. A strep test only takes a few minutes in the office.

None: Plenty of fluids to keep the mucus loose, watch for fever, or decrease in drinking or eating or a change in behavior.  If cough persists see your doctor. Over the counter cough and cold remedies are over-marketed and do very little real good, &amp; can make kids cranky or too sleepy &amp; even prolong a viral illness.  Avoid them.  Only exception is if the cough is due to allergies, then plain benadryl (diphenhydramine) ok
