Yes: This could cause you to be dehydrated and possible have a miscarriage.  It is important to speak with your OB doctor before taking any medication

Try miralax (polyethylene glycol): Use MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol)  2-3 doses daily
not absorbed into your system.

Not likely a problem: It is unlikely to be a problem and you can't change ot anyway at this point so my suggestion would be to take a deep breath and move on.

No: No, however a laxative cycle of constipation then laxative use can cause continued difficulty for both you and your fetus. Increase the amount of fiber that you are taking in your diet and talk to your OB MD about products that contain Psyllium that can help.

i am pregnant and haven't pooped in a couple days. is it safe for me to take a laxative from the drug store for constipation? i am not sure if it is constipation, but i was going to take a laxative from the store. now i wonder, is it safe for the baby?

Hi. : Hi. Are you drinking at least 8  8 ounce glasses of water per day? Have you considered drinking prune juice?  That may be helpful if you are constipated, as it has a good fiber content.

Protect yourself: Although you certainly need to be examined for injury, it is usually far too early do damage the fetus. At this point, the evolving pregnancy is very small and probably too little to be near your "stomach."  the uterus is still contained in your pelvis at this stage. That said, protect yourself from significant injuries, it doesn't do anybody any good of you are hurting yourself like this.

Take a test : If you think you might be pregnant check then check a home pregnancy test. They are cheap, reliable and available  at any pharmacy.  Laxatives are safe for occasional use for constipation.
