Not a problem: Your GI tract will eliminate most of this and the tiny amount abosorbed will do no harm Your kidneys will never know about it.

hi, i have been to a doctor 2 days and the dr said i might have a throat infection. i got andolex-c spray, betaclav 1000 and florawin prescribed to me. i have been taking the medication but not getting any better, what should i do? can't swallow.

Doctor can examine: If one has a tonsil infection, and it is a bacterial infection like strep throat, she will have taken antibiotics. If she is worse, such as having more pain, difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, or too much cough, then it is hard to tell what is going on without another exam. That means seeing the doctor again. Bad things like a big tonsillar abscess or a neck abscess can happen.

Depends on etiology.: How was. The diagnosis established. If herpetic lesions may respond to antivirals like acyclovir. It is important to rule out other causes of esophagitis. A gastroenterologist might be helpful.

It Shouldn't: Since it is a month away, I doubt there will be any affect. Still, since IVF is very costly, make certain that you tell them when you go to provide the sample.

Would suggest that if you are dissatisfied with the opinions being given by your doctor that you get a second opinion from a specialist (either a pulmonologist or infectious diseases expert). Usually, a person sees the doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to check for strep throat). Throat lozenges and acetaminophen can help decrease pain temporarily.

Throat problems.: For significant sore throat with swollen tonsils / lymph nodes –  see physician &amp; get a strep throat test/ culture. If you have Strep Throat, antibiotic therapy is imperative to prevent future complications. Consider Tylenol or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications. Saltwater gargles: Mix 1 tsp salt in 8 oz warm water – gargle several times a day.  Watch for other sx's that could be C/W COVID

And get checked by your doctor to rule out Strep infection which needs to be treated with antibiotics

Depends: If you are looking for symptomatic treatment of sore throat pain, i like chloraseptic throat spray and tylenol (acetaminophen) extra strength as directed on the bottle. If you have a bacterial infection such as strep throat you really need an antibiotic to help treat the infection such as penicillin.
