CHF : If your CHF is controlled and stable that procedure should be fine.

: You should be evaluated and cleared by a cardiologist pre-op. Based on your EKG reading, an echocardiogram for ruling out valvular heart disease and pulmonary hypertension needs to be done in the meantime. Anesthesiologist will likely request cardiac clearance based on your symptoms and abnormal EKG findings.

Not necessarily : If you only have a left bundle branch block, particularly if it is not new and there are no other heart electrical impulse conduction problems a pacemaker does not seem necessary.

Difficult: Most bundle branch is a result of the aging process and aging in the conducation system.  This not preventable.  However, some bbb is result of aquired disease states including coronary disease.  So a healthy life-style, blood pressure, cholesterol, sugar control, diet and excercise are good ways to start.

Nothing to severe: Left bundle branch block (lbbb) is a pattern on the ECG that indicates that the heart's electrical waves are following an unusual path. It is common in older age, and usually due to scarring of the pathway. It may cause no symptoms and need no therapy. It can lead to marked slowing that needs a pacemaker. A new LBBB can also be a sign of a heart attack.

Not really related: Conduction system of  heart is as follows. Sa node is in the rt atrium.This fires & the impulse travels to the av node just above the venticles. There is a slight delay .Then the impulse goes to the vetricles via the bundle branch system. The left bundle to the left ventricle and rt bundle to the rt ventricle. So while fast rates can cause a rate depend bundle block , no opposite relationship.
