Side effects: I have not had any of my patients experience nose bleeds, as its an ssri. Not saying that can not happen as you can see almost every possible side effect with any medication. The question is also are you on any other medications that potentially increase that problem. See your md to review all your medications.

Maybe a little: Of all the SSRI medications, Prozac (fluoxetine) has among the lowest risks of SSRI withdrawal syndrome (mostly consisting of dizziness or light-headed spacey feeling). 
That said, any SSRI dose reduction might cause some people to experience withdrawal syndrome. 
The risk of significant withdrawal issues is lessened with short exposure (e.g. only one month) at the higher dose.

There are several things that can be done to help.  Talk with your prescriber about alternative treatments.

Check labs: It is imortant to check you thyroid funtion test before you start any antidepressant.
In general the data and clinical experience show that Prozac (fluoxetine) is causing weight loss during the short term use such as a year, which is why it is approved at the doses of 60-80 mg for bulimia nervosa binge eating, but on a long run it can cause weight gain.
