It is common for inr levels, which are used to monitor coumadin (warfarin), (warfarin) to rise with antibiotics. Probiotics have the potential to increase intestinal vit k levels and reduce the effectiveness of coumadin (warfarin). If you are on Coumadin (warfarin) you should check with your doc before taking them.

No dependency.: if you decide to take probiotics,your body will not become dependent on them, and you can stop them at any time with no problems. Except in unusual clinical circumstances, however, regular use of probiotics hasn't been shown to improve your health. Since there doesn't seem to be many potential side effects, deciding to take probiotics is a personal choice. Good luck.
