its been 3 days of my mens now but its very lighter than normal. had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago. my mens came on its expected date. is this irregular mens? or is this implantation bleeding? but my bleeding is not spotting also. is this ok? am i preg?

: This sounds like more than implantation bleeding. I'd call it a menstrual period. You could always do a pregnancy test or wait to see if you get your next period on time. Your gynecologist can advise you also.

Pregnant or Not: A woman who is sexually active may be preganant even if she has what appears to be a normal or near normal period or even spotting. You are 6 weeks late. It would be prudent to get a pregnancy test. You can do your own pregnancy test by purchasing a test kit at the drug store and testing your urine. You can also have your provider or doctor do a blood pregnancy test.

is it normal to have less/lighter periods when ure taking pills? dis month my mens is super light that i thought maybe this could be implantation bleeding? im used to having blood clots when i pee but now its just slight mens. im taking pills btw!?

: It is not unusual for you to have lighter menses on the pill and some women even stop. If you have been on the pill for a while and take them as prescribed chances of pregnancy are minor.

Can do a preg. test: A positive home urine pregnancy test can tell a woman that PRIOR spotting was actually implantation spotting. It can be hard to tell if she is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result about 3 weeks after sex, 1 week after missing a period, or 1 week after having a "weird" period.

Plan B effect: Plan b is essentially taking a high dose of birth control to disrupt the hormonal patterns in your body to delay or present ovulation. An abnormal period afterwards is not surprising.  If you think you might be pregnant check then check a home pregnancy test. They are cheap, reliable and available  at any pharmacy.

Probably not, but...: A urine pregnancy test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a withdrawal period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test.

Implantation Bleed: There is no quantifiable amount of bleeding that one can determine being implantation bleeding vs. Miscarriage.  Only that a pregnancy continues to thrive.

Possible: Implantation bleeding is not really as common as the internet would have you believe. When it does happen it's  usually 6-12 days after ovulation.  A pregnancy test 7-10 days after unprotected intercourse  is much more helpful. If you are trying to avoid pregnancy considering your age please see your doctor to discuss birth control options. If you are trying to get pregnant take a prenatal vitamin.

Possible, not likely: Irregular bleeding is common, implantation bleeding not so much. Best way to tell is if your period does not start on time, take a pregnancy test.
