Psychologists can treat panic attacks successfully 90% of the time in less than 10 sessions. There's no reason to suffer.

Many things possible: Many things are possible in life. Have never seen a heart explode. Actually, have never seen any part of an adult in his 20's explode due to natural causes. Maybe it is theoretically possible, but life would be no fun if a person spent his days worrying about those infinitely unlikely but theoretically possible events. Probably best to start with one's primary care doctor, for panic treatment.

Very treatable: Panis attacks are usually very treatable with cbt, relaxation techniques and desensitization.  A heart beat of 125 is high and should be checked by an md.  He/she can make a recommendation for a psychologist who uses the above techniques for panic attacks. Sometimes medication can be helpful, but should be done with therapy.  If you have had past trauma, get therapy for that.

Panic attacks: Panic attacks are psychologic reactions which can have symptoms which mimic those of heart attack. A real heart attack is caused by a heart blood vessel blocking off and damaging a part of the heart. Heart attack can be fatal. Panic attack usually isn't fatal but can be psychologically incapacitating.

: You have the right idea as to managing the symptoms.  Break them down into manageable components.  For example, learn deep breathing which increases parasympathetic nervous system activity and decreases sympathetic activity.  stretching and exercise can be incorporated, as well as singing to augment your control.
Singing out loud or silently can place you in a comfortable place.
