No: The urine pregnancy tests rely in hormones created by the mass of cells that become the placenta &amp; cord. Cysts nor PCOS have the ability to create these specific hormones. You can always test too early &amp; not have enough hormone present to turn the test positive.  When  you do test positive it is most likely a accurate finding than a random negative test.

i took a home pregnancy test twice and all gave a positive results. i went to take a ct scan and nothing was seen but an ovarian cyst was detected and was told by the sonography that ovarian cyst can give false positive pregnancy result. how true?

: That is not true. Home pregnancy tests are very reliable and ovarian cysts are very common. Assume you are pregnant until proven otherwise. Either it is too early to see evidence of the pregnancy, or it is not viable and maybe just a "chemical pregnancy". This should become clearer over the next couple of weeks.

Preg test: I assume you are referring to a positive pregnancy test.  If 3 tests report positive results then you need to see a doctor and determine if you are pregnant. Do not assume it is due to a cyst.  If you are sexually active at all it could be a pregnancy.

Probably: Depends on what the definition of "small abnormal cyst" is?  But any follicle that's functional can trigger an lh surge to start the ovulation process.  The other possibility if you were scanned at a particular cycle day, is that you ovulated before the scan even as close as minutes before the scan and the early corpus luteum could be missed leaving only the "small cyst" to be seen on ultrasound.

Positive preg test: Pregnancy tests are actually quite accurate. Repeat the test and if it is positive you are probably pregnant. Ovarian cysts dont usually give positive. There are some rare cases that can cause a false posiive.

Pregnant: if you have 3 positive test you are pregnant. Politely I am skeptical about your previous cyst: many ovarian cysts can cause skipped periods, but only 1 can give a positive hCG and it is a unusual tumor so I doubt you had that. Good news and good wishes.
