A member asked:

I took a home pregnancy test twice and all gave a positive results. i went to take a ct scan and nothing was seen but an ovarian cyst was detected and was told by the sonography that ovarian cyst can give false positive pregnancy result. how true?

That is not true. Home pregnancy tests are very reliable and ovarian cysts are very common. Assume you are pregnant until proven otherwise. Either it is too early to see evidence of the pregnancy, or it is not viable and maybe just a "chemical pregnancy". This should become clearer over the next couple of weeks.
