Specific formulations of this and other vitamins contain higher levels of anti-oxidants which help protect against progression of dry age-related macular degeneration.  It is totally fine for you to take ocuvite or any of the other "eye" vitamins when take medication for high blood pressure.

It contains vitamin c, e, a, zinc & copper.
