Gi: This is very difficult to answer. Does she have vomiting or diarrhea?  Does eating make the pain better or worse?  Could be as simple as a viral illness causing gastritis or more difficult such as gallbladder problem. If her pain is severe and constant it would be a good idea to see a doctor or go to the emergency department asap as pain severe and lasting for 2 days can be very serious!

More info: The first thing one thinks of is gallbladder but more info is needed. How long does it last? Anything make it better? What food makes it worse?  Have you had any surgery ? How long has it been there? Have you tried any medications? Did they work? Did you injure yourself? Pulled muscle etc? Has anyone done any studies? See your primary for initial workup. Reflux, gastritis, esophageal issues poss.

It would be important to find out why you are coughing so much and treat the underlying problem so see your doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

See a doctor for an assessment.

Not related: I don't believe chamomile would likely do this and at any rate it would be well out of your system by today.  Something else is going on and if you are not able to eat or drink, you need to be seen before you get dehydrated.  Good luck!

Reflux?: You may have gerd with some of the stomach acid leaking into your esophagus when lying down.  This is worse if you eat prior to going to bed.  Try elevating your head at night and taking an acid blocker like prilosec.  If it continues see an md as it can lead to more complications.
