Possibly: They are mr sequences (protocols) that can be used to detect aneurysm without contrast injection. But small aneurysms can be missed. If the patient has a normal renal function, it is strongly recommended to inject contract, that will dramatically increase the resolution and the detection of small aneurysm.

Depends on the size: The best MRI  study is an mra (angiogram) but even this misses aneurysms less than 3mm

Limited sensitivity: The answer to your question is "possibly."  Better resolution comes from an intracranial MRA, which looks at all cerebral vessels.  CTA (a CAT scan of the cerebral arteries with contrast) is also useful.  The gold standard is still cerebral angiography (involving a catheter inserted into the vessels to deliver contrast while under x-ray fluoroscopy).

Brain aneurysm: If it is big enough it would. Most are tiny and called Charot-Bouchert micro aneurysms. seen mostly in those with long standing high blood pressure.

Yes: MRI will show an aneurysm.  Your headaches could be due to other reason.  If you got an MRI done already a physician is already involved so go back to your physician so they can further investigate the cause of your headaches.

Maybe Not: Even an MRA can miss a very small aneurysm.  Here is the problem, with a headache patient, in an ideal world, it would be nice if we could get MRI/MRA studies on every patients.  BUT insurance companies think different.  If aneurysm is a worry, I often have to show that a regular MRI was "negative" before insurances will allow an MRA and STILL have to fill out gobs of paperwork to justify.

Usually, but: Typically, can pick up multiple sizable lesions, but may miss small vascular anomalies or small inflammatory lesions.  Usually most significant issues such as tumors are readily visualized.

Unable to answer: Unfortunately, I don't have enough information to answer your question.  Presumably you were evaluated recently when the CT was ordered, but, if you have doubts about that evaluation, you should be re-evaluated by a physician.  I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.
