what will help flare ups due to a geographical tongue it is really painful! on a 1-10 scale a 7 i can barely eat and am even losing weight please help!

See a dentist: Geographic tongue by itself is not painful.  You may have something else going on to cause the amount of pain you are experiencing.  This needs to be seen to be diagnosed and treated. See a dentist or oral surgeon asap.  Meanwhile  avoid spicy, acidic foods and drinks, use otc pain relief like advil (ibuprofen) if you can take this.

May be from fasting: Fasting leads to ketones which changes the breath odor and taste. An empty stomach can also allow bile reflux  and bile is bitter.

: There is very little fat to lose in your cheek, but if one was obese and then lost a substantial amount of weight, there might be a smidgen more room between the teeth and cheeks.

Dobtful its Megace!: Megace does cause some weight gain but it is not very common. So lets not blame it entirely on megace...it gets out of your body in 2-3 days. If you are serious about losing weight, begin to cut down on your daily calories by cutting down quantity of food and avoid rich, oily or fried foods. Shift to plant based foods , taking veggies and fruits to fill half of you food plate at each mealtime.

See Dr., then eat...: If one is truly underweight (based on height, family background, and body type), a Dr. can evaluate for a hormonal, digestive, or other disorder. If no medical cause is found, then one can add weight by eating more calories of nutritious foods, while also doing weight-training to increase muscle. Proteins: egg white, chicken breast, salmon, ...  Better fats: olive oil, peanuts, almonds, tofu, ....

Normal variation: There is a great deal of variation among folks and body parts, including the penis.  Please ask your doc to examine you to put your mind at ease and then love all that you are.   Don't use penis as a measure of self-worth.   Weight can swallow up the penis and it can look smaller externally.  I don't  know of any studies but i'm sure someone does. Peace and good health.

Lots of questions: Please forgive me. You need to look for some other explanation for your weight loss. Lymphoma is very, very unlikely given what you've been telling us in this and other inquiries. A good history and physical exam, a diet history, and some basic labs (thyroid, chem profile, CBC) need to happen; if weight loss seems due to subtle disease, tests to rule out gluten enteropathy, adult CF, others.

: In overweight-associated disease, weight reduction seems to reduce the findings of AN.  Keep in mind oral contraceptives are associated with AN as well. Topical or oral retinoids may benefit some patients.

i'm recovering from anorexia, will my boobs ever grow back? i was a size 42 dd and around 145 lbs and went down to around 95-100 lbs, and my breasts went down to a 34 c. i started losing weight at 15, i am now 16 and i've been in recovery for 2 month?

: Experience shows that It may not be possible to restore the original size and shape.of your breasts after a rapid and major weight loss. Since breasts are made up of large amounts of fatty tissue some weight gain will help along with good nutrition and exercise. There's always boob jobs to consider also.
