i have ic and i was wondering if there is something other than prelief i could take? i am having a hard time finding it.

Yes, if prescribed.: It's okay if it's prescribed for you!  Take with food (not dairy), do wait at least 1.5 hrs after other pain meds. Don't take if you have abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or diahrrea.

IC patients: volume?: Interstitial cystitis is a condition which occurs over time, when the constant irritation of the bladder smooth muscle makes the muscle stronger and thus "thicker", which decreases bladder capacity, and increases urinary urgency. Ask for a referral for a urologist who can dilate the urethra, and over time the volume will enlarge, as the irritation dissipates.
