Sun, shaving and chemicals  are very irritating as well as constant exposure to moisture reduces protective skin oils and sets the skin up for injury.  The trick is to  apply good protective skin cream frequently and minimize ongoing damage.  Clean it often using gentle means.

OH YES!: Tanning beds are dangerous! keep sunburn cool with moist cool/cold compresses.  Avoid alcohol containing products.  Break off pieces of aloe vera plant & apply sap to  skin.  Consider non-steroidal anti-inflammatory meds to reduce pain.  Don’t yank off peeling skin or burst blisters. Seek medical care for severe pain, fever, lack of improvement of sxs within several days.

Yes, but Aloe Vera: may give more relief.  Also, cold compresses.  OK to take oral pain medications.  Please commit to avoid tanning beds and using sun protection in the future to lower your risk of skin cancer.
