Medications: The antibiotic fight the infection and the ibuprophen will relieve the pain until the antibiotic takes effect.   You can take both of these  medications.  If you are concerned about the medications or interactions with each other or other medications you are on then consult with your pharmacist.  They are the most knowledgable on drug interactions.

You can take both id dayquil is not relieving your symptoms of fever and/or pain.
