Or do you mean a ten year od with a buckle fracture who wants to play recreational town soccer?  "simple colles fracture'  can mean a lot of different things, and this is why most orthopedists and hadn surgeons  hate eponyms.

Not a great idea: I wouldn't recommend it to any of my patients
except in unusual circumstances
with any fall there is a chance you could
cause further damage or change in position of the fracture or in the fixation pins
would wait until the cast is off and then play with a splint or wrapping by trainor.

Immediately you will have deformity, swelling, pain, perhaps numbness and will not want to use it.  It is a serious fracture and should be seen immediately.
