Only lemon: You can have only juice of one lemon without  any sugar, only saccharin or stevia can be used to sweeten.

It can be: A gluten-free diet can include any food that does not contain gluten and orange juice certainly qualifies. However, eating a whole orange is healthier than orange juice as it has more fiber and raises blood sugar less. If you do have orange juice i advise fresh-squeezed. Diet: Orange juice is full of calories . All that sugar won't help your diet. I am not sure that apple cider vinegar will have a positive or a negative effect on a  weight loss diet. Take care.

Yes: You could have urine infection. See your doctor and get urine test done.

Acid reflex?: Regardless of the gluten issue, orange juice is more acidic than other non citrus juices. Try to balance your diet with more alkali producing foods such as vegetables than acid producing such as meats and other processed foods. Probiotics may be of value also. Your GP can suggest test for H pylori bacteria, a frequent cause of stomach issues, and give treatment if indicated. Feel better

why do i sometimes poop light brown to yellow poop? should i be concerned or is this diet related? i pooped this morning and the day before i ate pineapple, strawberries, and kiwis. earlier that day i ate eggs and orange juice?

Accepted Answer

: Light colored or yellow stools is usually due to fat being present in the stools.  The cause is fat malabsorption in the upper GI system.  Gallbladder dysfunction and pancreatic dysfunction may be the cause.  Most of the time it is harmless if it occurs only occasionally.

recently found out have low potassium, added 2 banana's, orange juice and tomoato juice to diet but causing loose stools, concerned counterproductive?

Accepted Answer

Why is it low?: Do you know why is it low? 
Is it because you're on medicines that artificially lower it? There are rare genetic conditions that can lower potassium?

Or was this a random lab finding. If it was a random finding, realize potassium levels can fluctuate moment to moment. Also machines have error too. If its borderline low, don't go nuts with a high potassium diet. 
If it's markedly low, talk to doc!

when i have orange juice(for glowing skin) or anything sour-ish i develop acidity. any alternatives? i take vitamin c tablets daily. will that suffice

"Glowing skin" : Is evidence of overall health and orange juice without the fiber is not the same as eating the orange. Taking vitamin c on its own is not good because all the vitamins work as a a team and does not "take you off the hook" of eating an appropriate diet of  natural food.

Orange : Orange juice is tricky - we've been told for years how healthy it is, right?  True, it has vitamin c, calcium (if you buy the calcium fortified stuff), and it tastes good, but there are a few other things to keep in mind:

- an 8 oz glass of oj has almost as much sugar as a can of soda
- oj has little to no fiber, so that sugar rush can cause an Insulin spike which eventually leads to high cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure and weight gain.  Eating the whole fruit is much better for you because the fiber found in the fruit causes the sugars to be digested more slowly which avoids the Insulin spike
- the stuff you buy in the carton has been processed with many chemicals to increase shelf life - even the expensive stuff!  if you must have oj, it's much better to squeeze it yourself.

The 2 best bits of dietary advice i can give pertaining to juice is "everything in moderation" or "bypass the juice and just eat the fruit".  Your body will thank you.

OJ: define lots: six quarts day may make you fat. Need more information.

Do you have kidney failures? if so your blood K may get too high.
