Burning mouth: Could be a primary  problem or it could be related to underlying problems such as dry mouth, nutritional deficiencies  heartburn, certain medications, or certain systemic medication problems such as thyroid disease. 
Would avoid  cinnamon, mint, spicy or acidic foods; increase fluids and consider saliva replacement substitute if dry mouth.; and would discuss underlying etiologies with your doctor.
