Yes: It is okay to resume physical activities after sclerotherapy.  However, I would recommend waiting for at least 48 hours after the procedure to resume this physical activity.  Wearing compression stockings during activity is good idea.

Compression: Yes, so long as this is directed from your clinician. We need to know that your arteries are okay and then we can determine the correct level of compression. The levels of compression are measured in millimeters of mercury pressure.

What's the cause ?: Cellulitis is basically a visible inflammation (itis) of the skin and soft tissues (red, hot, swollen and tender) . It can be caused by many things including sunburn (radiation), trauma (sprained ankle) or poor vein circulation (stasis dermatitis). It need not be caused by bacteria.  If you have repeated episodes of this, get to a wound care or vascular specialist, the diagnoses you have is wrong.
