IC: Nuts in general are under the foods that could irritate your bladder. You have to remember that you may need to evaluate to see if you eat nuts and bladder symptoms worsen. If no untoward effects are observed you can conclude that they are good for you.

IC: Having fevers after eating is most likely not related to IC.  It could be from potential gastrointestinal sources such as gallstones.  You should be seen by your primary md

Maybe: Diet and ic does not have a simple answer.  A starting list of foods to avoid include alcohol, artificial sweeteners, coffee, citrus juices, cranberry juice, hot peppers, side and spicy foods.  However the best way to find out what foods trigger you is to do an elimination diet.  If you want to try a food you are not sure about try taking "prelief" prior to consuming the item.

my interstitial cystitis is taking over my life. the instillations made it worse. it's like the catheter or anything touching my urethra/bladder makes it worse. i eat healthy and azo is the only thing that helps me.what can i do???

: Follow all instructions re. IC. Avoid acidic. food and drinks . Do not give up. treatment and relief is there. Suggest you see a Urologist specializing in IC at an academic medical center. Good luck

Gluten insensitivity: Some people believe it may be due to gluten sensitivity or intolerance. If you have nausea, abdominal pain or bloating also, then you should be tested for celiac disease first. If not, then try cutting out foods that contain wheat, barley or rye.

Unknown: Interstitial cystitis (ic) also called painful bladder syndrome (pbs) is common but causes are unclear, & likely there are many different causes. Treatments include medication by mouth or instilled into bladder, neuromodulation (estim) or treatment of hypertonic (spastic) pelvic muscles with pt, medication or injections.

IC: This is a condition where there is inflammation within your bladder wall. This is not a common condition. How were you dx, most cases need a cystoscopy and biopsy. I would talk to your Urologist and see if a culture was send and the  results of the same. Also if a biopsy was taken. Seeing a Urologist is warranted. Hope this helps. Best of luck
