Kombucha: There appears no good evidence that kombucha is good for anything but is good to be avoided. It has some relationship to molds but i can find no literature relating kombucha to sarcoid.

: Kombucha can vary in its alcohol content. Most commercial varieties contain less than 0.5%.  Most are fine for consumption while taking warfarin. Check the label, though for alcohol content and avoid homemade varieties as they can contain more alcohol. While taking warfarin, it is advised to severly limit or remove alcohol from the diet.

i have a heart arrythmia. is it safe to drink kombucha tea?

Fermented drink: Made from tea, sugar, bacteria and yeast. Some reports of adverse effects like stomach upset, infections an allergic reactions. Often brewed at home under non sterile conditions, making contamination likely. If ceramic pots used then lead poisoning may be a concern. I will advice not to used specially if you have arrhythmic heart problems.

It shouldn't: There are no drinks that one can buy at the grocery store that will directly decrease the effectiveness of the Depo Provera shot, of condoms, or of birth control pills. Indirectly, buying and drinking too much alcohol can lead to haphazard use of condoms or birth control pills, but Depo Provera should still work.

That'd be a first: You're the guy with the elevated RDW, correct?  Some folks always run a high GGT -- it's genetic. Your ropinirole isn't noted for raising GGT but medications can do this unpredictably. More worrisome causes of high GGT include liver tumors -- these would typically also elevate your alkaline phosphatase.

i am taking cipro for right side epididymitis. 500 mg 2 x a day for 10 days. should i drink kombucha for probiotics while on the medication?

Epididymitis infec-: tion.  Please continue to see your doc and do what he/she says.  Consider using natural antimicrobials such as olive leaf extract and/or colloidal silver.  A natural doc or practitioner can guide you in the use of those things.  Peace and good health.  Probiotics are helpful w/antibiotics but get multiple strain ones, not one or two strains w/high numbers.

Try to calm down.: There is a big difference between trace amount of alcohol and drinking a beer. You will likely be just fine. Take care.

Relax: I consider trace amounts to be insignificant in this situation. You would need to consume gallons of it daily to be significant.

Yes: there should be no problem is you only drinl a cup or two
