i started suffering from red blood on my stool coupled with pinkish urine. i drink alcohol but dont smoke and have a previous history of breast and colon cancer in both of my grandparents. i also have ehlers danlos syndrome but dont suffer with it.

Blood/fecal: Difficult without more history, but blood externally on stool is usually due to small tears in the lining of the colon/rectum and is common with constipation. Breast and colon cancers usually do not produce external blood on the stool, but it would be wise to get a colonoscopy or a FIT test to ease concern.  Pinkish urine can come with a urinary tract infection, but not from breast/colon disease.

Alcohol in breast: Alcohol is metabolized at the rate of 1 oz/hr.  Use that as a guide to figure out how far from breast feeding you could drink.

No: In general, it is best not to consume alcohol while breastfeeding as alcohol can get into your bloodstream and then into your breastmilk. That being said, the alcohol does not stay there indefinitely. If you care to consume alcohol, a reasonable alternative would be to feed with expressed breastmilk and "pump and dump" the milk that you make for a couple of hours after drinking to be cautious.

Define small: Alcohol effects breast milk production by decreasing the prolactin hormone & decreasing flow. It also comes across into babies system where one of it's breakdown products is formaldehyde, a chemical not so friendly for the brain. A small amount might produce no noticed changes in baby but i'm not aware of any data that has found a safe exposure level.

May be esophagus: The pattern you describe suggests more an issue with your upper stomach/swallow tube (esophagus) than anything else.Alcohol can produce a burning sensation if there are irritated surfaces in these areas. You may want to consult with your doc and see if further study and  or medications are in order.

Cannot say: but, irritation of the stomach and some reflux symptoms can give pain in the area of the esophagus. Pain in the diaphram (hiatal hernia) often is felt in the arm.

Hard to say: Alcohol burns things - it is very destructive to tissue. If you put alcohol on a cut, you know this.  It may be your are getting esophagitis, gastritis or acid peptic disease, or even pancreatic inflammation, depending on how much you are drinking and your body's sensitivity to alcohol. Your physician can help figure it out with more complete history, physical and labs. Stop alcohol use for now.

i have chest pains and pain in my left arm and back till i drink alcohol.... why does the drinking make me feel normal?  i also feel light headed

You need evaluation: I have no idea what the pain is, or why drinking alcohol makes it better, but you need to talk to your doctor. Hypertension in a 22 year old man is distinctly abnormal, and if your doctor has not tested you for more unusual causes of hypertension (coarctation of the aorta, primary hyperaldosteronism, renal artery stenosis and others), you should be tested for these. Talk to him about drinking also.
