See below: In general, you should have no physical restrictions six weeks after robotic prostatectomy.  This is not to say you will feel completely better by that time though, and there may be some activities that will be uncomfortable for many weeks or even months after the operation.  If you have specific questions, i wold ask the urologist who performed your operation.

You do: Not have to wait weeks. You may shower or bath as soon as you feel well enough to do so.

Nothing: healing begins within 48 hour and usually completed in 1 week.

Doctor right: your doctor is right small hydrocele do not need surgery specially if there is no severe discomfort
first you need to watch if the hydrocele does change in sizes off and on or not if it does then you have a hernia with the hydrocele and might need to be taking care off
there is nothing you can do to make it go away the best thing you do keep eye on the size and if you start having discomfort

i had keyhole surgery a week ago today, i was wondering can i go for a bath in epsom salts or a normal bath? the wounds arent weeping and are stitched

No: No usually they want you to wait for up to 4 weeks before you get soaked in any fluid including swimming or warm bath you can take a shower in 48 hours but no soaking

See surgeon: hydroceles can grow and are v often associated with hernias--get an opinion from a urologist or a surgeon

scab fell off my wound from surgery after a bath. it was yellow/green. can see stitches now through the "hole" left behind. is this normal?

Call your surgeon: The sutures that your are seeing may be absorbable sutures that "dissolves" over several weeks.  If you have redness, increased pain, fever, or pus like drainage see your doctor right away as you may be getting a wound infection.  As far as the "hole" I would keep this area clean and dry and covered with a sterile gauze.   Do not let moisture get into the wound.  Ask your surgeon!

had surgery. stiches on face. can i go for steam bath? any risk of infection? if i want to go, can i use oil on stiches and go for steam bath?

It is not likely: It would likely be normal Flora from your skin. If she gets itching or redness, or low grade fever or chills your girlfriend needs to see her primary care physician. The same if she has burning on urination.
