It may: Humira (adalimumab) is a very powerful immune modulating drug.  It can be associated with retinitis - best to be checked for a normal retina early in your treatment and quickly again if you notice vision changes.

can humira cause a very uncomfortable racy feeling? its been building up over last wk since 4th injection. i always have bad side effects to everything. ill ask dr thursday but its very noticeable, frustrating & uncomfortable. very dry eyes too?

RA worse. : First and foremost, your RA symptoms, both the joint pains and any extra-articular issues you may have, may worsen quite quickly. You need to discuss RA treatment plan B with your Rheumatologist.

Headache: Before beginning Humira (adalimumab) discuss the side effects and contraindications for use with your prescribing physician.  The headache that you describe is consistent with occipital neuralgia.  The facial twitching could be caused by a variety of neurological conditions. Ideally, a neurologist should have input into you taking the Humira (adalimumab) as well as treating the headaches and facial twitching.

Its optional: If only one eye has a refractive error than only that eye needs to be corrected.  This can be done by an individual contact lens or sometimes with glasses (if the prescription is not too big). For a more permanent solution, laser vision correction on one eye may be explored as an option.

Your choices are: Glasses, contact lenses or laser.  There is no magical or "natural" technique that works.

Accepted Answer

No: This is very common and is called amblyopia.  Eyes develop based on the ability to see, so if one of your eyes is not allowed to see well as a child it may never develop the connection to the brain that will allow it to see.  If you have vision only in one eye, it is very important to see an ophthalmologist if you have not been formally diagnosed as there are many treatable causes of vision loss.
